The Interconnection Measurement Project provides research into a core component of the Internet, utilizing a common measurement platform to enable aggregation and extensibility. The ISPs currently in our data set serve roughly three-quarters of all US residential broadband subscribers. Participation from transit and content (or “edge”) providers is encouraged along with ISPs and network providers. This enables us to better understand the end-to-end flow of traffic across the Internet.

Who Can Contribute

ISPs, transit providers, and content or edge providers are encouraged to get in touch. Participants in the Interconnection Measurement Project must be willing to install and operate the common platform from Nokia-Deepfield and contribute data for future publication.
